pysches starved by wintry blast

No summer's shimmer compares

Petals In The Snow
As the chill of winter weighs heavy on this burdened
heart ... I have succumbed to those moments when
your presence lingers with me ... when I'm able to
rest in the serenity of your whispers and the comfort
of your embrace; I surrendered my heart under the
breath of a summer sky so long ago ... and even
now when all that remains are crimson petals
cast upon a blanket of snow ...
it's still yours
Though you're gone I can never release sweet
memories that remain etched in my soul so
devotedly ... it's your breath I feel when I lie
in bed at night ... it's your warmth that delivers
me from night chills that would otherwise freeze
forever any thoughts of happiness; I cannot be
sad when I sense you near ... I am numb to
death's icy tendrils and brush them off like
unwanted snowflakes upon my heart ...
it's ever you I seek
My eternal love you have ... a devotion that
time nor distance can ever diminish ... immortal
sentiments that will draw me close to you should
the days rest heavy and my spirit grow weary;

Brett Favre looks good in a Jets jersey.
I think the Jets will go 9-7 this season, with Favre.
As you already know, the Packers went 13-3 last year, with an appearance in the NFC Championship game. They were one bad pass away from reaching the Super Bowl - an interception thrown by Brett Favre against the Giants in overtime.
I think the Packers will go 7-9 this year, without Favre.
Had the Packers kept Favre, 11-5 and another trip to the playoffs would have been likely. Of course, these are just my opinions. I could be wrong...
I just hope the Texans can improve upon their 8-8 season from a year ago, which was their best season in franchise history.
